We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, you have 30 days from delivery to return any item bought from byte.co.uk for a refund.
Condition of returns
To be accepted, items must be returned within 30 days of delivery; unused and in resaleable condition; in their original packaging, with all accessories included; and accompanied by proof of purchase (your order number or receipt).
How to return
Sign in to your account, open your order and select "Request return". We will review your request and email you the next steps. You can also return items in person at our Solihull store.
Return postage
Return postage is paid by you (we recommend Royal Mail), except where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover the return cost.

Refunds
Once we receive and check your item, we will refund you to your original payment method within 5 working days. We do not offer store credit or exchanges. Original delivery charges are refunded only where the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or it is not what you ordered, contact us and we will arrange a replacement and tell you how to return or dispose of the original. Where the item needs to be returned, we cover the return cost, and your original delivery charge is refunded.
Warranty
Within the first 30 days, a faulty item can be refunded or replaced in full. After 30 days, faults are covered by your 12-month warranty (repair or replacement). See our Warranty page for details.
Returning a refurbished device
Before returning a refurbished phone or laptop, please remove your SIM, sign out of iCloud and remove the activation lock, and back up and erase your data.
Your statutory rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
